Hut

The hut in the corner of the railway looks very incongruous; it’s visible on old photographs and maps but I’ve got no idea what it’s purpose was.

The model is from the ScaleScenes R024 Weighbridge/Coal Office kit which is available to download for free. The only modification is that the window has been boarded up, the plywood texture paper was in my stocks.

The hole in the baseboard towards the bottom of the picture, which will disappear when the surface is laid, was from a street light. I bought these with the intention of dotting them about the layout but decided in the end that they didn’t look right.
