Tanks

The two oil tanks are a resin casting from Ten Commandments, painted black, but I added a brick bund using card and texture papers rather than trying to paint one on.

The water tank piers are “under construction” (I couldn’t have them finished as that would spoil one of my personalisations). This style of water tank is very common in, and peculiar to, North East England. My sample is at Beamish, I made the tank from some 10mm dowel and wooden balls, covered it with label paper to simulate sheet iron then painted it matt black with added rust streaks. The piers are the same card clad with brick papers as the other structures.
