Before Covid-19 caused a lockdown I had a long weekend in Rochdale with TOG friends. The main reason for visiting was for our own Dippy the Dinosaur to meet the Natural History Museum’s Dippy which was on tour. I did visit the Greater Manchester Fire Service museum as well, and we had a ride on the East Lancs Railway. I rounded things off with a visit to the Museum of Transport in Manchester.
