County Durham features quite frequently on these web pages. Having been born in the County this isn’t entirely surprising but this trip was primarily for Dad to revisit some old haunts and, in particular, to go back to Beamish for the first time in several years. I took fewer photos than usual, partly because we spent quite a bit of time in the car and I always find it harder to take pics when I’m with someone else. Beamish itself is split over two days as we had one day looking over the main areas then went back later in the week for their agricultural show.
