Tuesday - Two Steam Railways

The day was spent at two very different steam railways. The Bodmin and Wenford is a standard gauge railway, the rain was torrential and, inevitably, that meant the trains were very full. The Launceston Steam Railway is completely different. It’s a 1’ 11 1/2” tourist railway built on an old standard gauge track bed and is run by the owners plus a few staff. It’s buffet is definitely recommended, serving excellent local produce.
