Jarrow Hall hosts both the Bede Museum and Gyrwe Anglo-Saxon Farm. The first of these has a small number of artefacts but they do tell the story of early Christianity in the area very well. The Farm is part experimental, part educational. It has a number of recreated buildings and they rear some old breed animals.
