Friday - The Bluebell Railway

The Bluebell is one of the first, and most famous, heritage railways having opened back in 1960 (before I was born). This was my first visit simply because it’s not an area we’d ever holidayed in. It was busy that day, which did affect the catering and as heritage railways go the journey itself has little to recommend it other than the fact you cross the Greenwich Meridian. It’s just not a particularly scenic route.
